It seems this time around, Sydney is busy in their preparations for the Nepal Festival Sydney 2014 which takes place twice in a year in cities all over Australia. The Nepal Festival Sydney 2014 is organised by the NRNA Australia (Non Residential Nepalese Association Australia) and NSW State Coordination Council in association with Embassy Of Nepal Consulate General of NSW and All The Community Organistions. The Festival only happens twice every two years and has been held since 2006. It will be held on the 9th of September, 2014 and it is expected to have more than 20,000 attendees to the Festival.

Nepal Festival Sydney 2014

The first Nepal Festival was organised in 2006.

The Festival’s theme is to “Embrace Culture, Enrich Life”. It aims to:-
1. To promote the Integration & Promotion of Nepali Culture into the Australian Multiculturalism
2. To unite and create the spirit of the unity among Nepali communities in Australia
3. To promote the Tourism Industry of Nepal
4. To promote careful and planned Investment in Nepal by Non Residential Nepalese

Performing Artists from Nepal: Nima Rumba, Anil Singh & Shirish Devkota
Venue: Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour New South Wales
Time: Festival starts from 10 am onwards (AST)
Other Attractions: United Crowd & Food Stalls
